Scientific 3D Animation Video
Unilever is one of our leading global clients. Specialized in wide range of consumer products varying from vitamins and mineral supplements to personal care and beauty products ; we collaborated with a vision to create a scientific animation video to convey the benefits of their personal skincare product – Dove body wash – on the lipid barrier of the skin in a three-dimensional space.
The 3D scientific animation video was primarily generated for internal communication purpose of the firm. The objective was to help Unilever explain the characteristics of the new formula of Dove Body wash to their clientele.
A scientific 3D animation video was curated to visually amplify the functionality and explain the mechanism of action of the active ingredients present in the Dove Body wash. The 3D scientific animation video entails to explain in a methodical manner the mechanism in which skin identical precursor lipids like Stearic & Palmitic acid s are elongated to form ceramides and longer fatty acids; that are in turn deposited into the Lipid Matrix of Strateum Corneum for skin nourishment through their new formula.
Every element presented in the video pertaining to the skin such as Strateum Corneum, Corneocytes, Lipid Matrix, the components of Lipid Matrix ( Fatty Acids, Ceramides, Cholesterol ), Stearic & Palmitic acids and others were designed with meticulous care in three-dimensional space for accurate depiction of its role in the replenishment of the skin.

How & who did it?

Due to our 10+ years of expertise in the Healthcare & Beauty Industry and a strong medical and scientific community in Europe, we worked closely with leading dermatologists, estheticians, and cosmetologists with strong industry knowledge and extensive experience in the field to obtain firsthand advisory about dermatology.
We ensured that we sought advisory and discussed about the benefits and mechanism of action of the active ingredients on the skin`s nourishment with our dermatology consultants and specialists to fully understand the concept and create a truly meaningful video for our client Unilever.
To visually recreate the concept, our creative team based in Paris worked closely together with highly experienced 3D animators, and artistic director to create a 3D scientific animation video of Unilever`s medical grade skincare product emphasizing on it`s practicability on the skin`s lipid barrier.
From pre-production to post-production our scientific & medical community and creative team worked hand in hand extensively in a collaborative information exchange process to create a purposeful scientific 3D animation video.
